It easy to get a good hotel in Goa – but it is hard to get a memorable hotel which has everything that creates that special ‘feel’ and presses all the right buttons. The planners in Goa, wisely decided that developers could not build right up to the beach, however, a few ‘5 star’ complexes have managed via various means to break the rules. The best place to watch the sun go down is in one of the many beach shacks where a gin and tonic and some ambient music makes you want to stay forever.
